Tachometer & Speedometer

The original speedometer was removed and replaced with a VDO 85 mph speedometer with electronic odometer. The advantage to this is that the VDO speedometer is programmable and includes a trip odometer. The Tachometer is also from VDO and is connected to the alternator to sense engine speed. The tachometer is also programmable and provides a good full-scale face that matches the diesel engine rev limitations. The turn signal indicators and headlight high beam indicator were move to a location to the right of the instrument cluster.
