Instrument Gauge Cluster
As you can see the temperature and fuel gauges have been moved from the right side of the dash to above the gauges on the left side of the dash. I fabricated an instrument pod from 3/32" aluminium to fit above the dash. The 'crash pad' was removed and replaced by the instrument pod. A bit of rerouting of the wires to the gauges was necessary, but I find the information from the cluster much more accessible. The right side of the instrument pod contains the oil temperature gauges. The space where the temperature and fuel gauges came from is now used by the CTIS gauge and control switch. I no longer have to search through the steering wheel see the tire pressure reading - a big improvement.
